A kitchen designer operating from two separate sites was looking to relocate to one larger premises which would allow them space to display their kitchens, along with a warehouse unit to assemble units before they were dispatched.
The lease on one of their sites had ended with the others due to end within the next 3 months. They had found suitable premises that was 11302 sqft, positioned on a busy road and had shop frontage. The landlord was looking for around £200K pa for this property which they felt was above the amount they were expecting to pay.
They wanted Build Consultants to act on their behalf to negotiate with the landlord and secure the premises.
The site was visited frequently with both our client and the landlord. We invested in searching around the area for premises that would be suitable for them as a contingency in the event that the negotiations with the landlord deemed unsuccessful. We negotiated with the landlord and liaised with specialists during the course of this project.
